A modern twist on print history

We have put ourselves at the forefront of the resurgency of traditional art forms, that were threatened by rapid modernisation. Craft is expereincing a new renaissance, and letterpress is no longer a dying discipline, but an art in its own right.

Inky Hands Press…

…was started by two illustration graduates with a passion for printing.

Letterpress is an historic practice with it’s roots in publishing and Inky Hands Press was set up in order to break the mold and push the realms of possibility when it comes to ink, paper and the confines of 26 letters.

Fran & Lelly met studying Illustration at univeristy in Swansea. Though both accomplished artists in their own right they decided to combine forces and formed Inky Hands Press in 2018.
